Lately we’ve had a lot going on - a lot of emotional goodbyes and family and friends.  An earthquake.  And now this.  And it’s hard to put into words exactly what you feel when the city you’ve loved and grown up in gets terrorized by idiots who don’t even really have a cause.  I fully support the peaceful protest (not that I think they accomplish much typically, but it is a right), but issues get over-shadowed by the unfortunate actions of a few.  Do you even know what the peaceful protesters were demonstrating about today?  I feel sad and angry that this is going on.  I watch this video and can’t believe that it’s just a 20 minute subway ride away.  It was even crazy getting off the subway at Bloor tonight to have it full of cops and all the exits to the streets shut down.  Toronto will be paying for the violent acts of these people in more ways than one.
